Blessing’s story: supported back into work

Blessing is now employed by the NSSL Group in the Luton area as a support worker. The NSSL Group provide support and accommodation to adults with a range of diverse needs. Typically, their residents include people who have experienced mental health, learning disabilities and substance abuse.

While with Jobs 22 Blessing worked with her Employment Coach, to devise a plan of support that was very specific to Blessing’s needs, her circumstances and what her employment goals were. Everyone is different, so the support someone on the Restart Scheme receives will be tailored to each person.

Job 22 works with many employers across our operational area. We seek to understand their needs so we can provide suitable, job-ready candidates.

Blessing is a good example of someone who has participated in the Restart Scheme, supported by Jobs 22, and is now employed with a local employer with whom Jobs 22 has developed an excellent relationship, providing job-ready candidates who meet their needs. Blessing is very happy in her new role and is keen, in time, to progress into a supervisory role. Everyone at Jobs 22 wishes Blessing all the very best of luck on her exciting career journey.
