National Careers Service delivery by Jobs 22 receives Matrix accreditation
Following a recent assessment at the end of October, the National Careers Service delivery by Jobs 22 has been successfully accredited to the matrix Quality Standard for Information, Advice and Guidance services.
The assessment consisted of 21 interviews with staff, customers and partners and an extensive document review.
Areas of strength identified include:
· While being a relatively new organisation, it was apparent the team has created a very supportive (staff) culture.
· The development of an easy-to-follow and clear ‘Customer Journey’ document.
· In discussions with the assessor, and comments from staff and partners, it was clear that managers are open and transparent.
· Throughout the assessment it was clear that the team are very focused on ongoing development and continuous improvement.
· Staff recognise the importance of building local relationships.

“We won’t stop there though; we want to continue improving the service we offer. The next aim is to achieve this accreditation across the whole of Jobs 22.
Next steps
The matrix review assessments take place every three years, with annual Continuous Improvement Checks.
While this assessment focused on the National Careers Service delivery, the intention is to extend this across the whole of Jobs 22 in due course.
