Jobs 22 partners with Gifts from Fairies to spread a little happiness to children who need it most.

Jobs 22 has pledged £1000 to not-for-profit Gifts from Fairies, who deliver presents to young children in need or experiencing significant hardship. Chief Fairy Officer Emma Shipstone lovingly creates unique boxes of gifts for children of all ages, "As a mum, I see the joy that my little boy has when opening presents, but there are so many children who don't experience that same level of joy. I wanted to create a way to help bring a smile to their faces, no matter their circumstances."

Gifts from Fairies works with local authorities, social workers, charities and local organisations to identify children in need. Emma then works with her team of 'fairies' to create boxes of presents tailored to the individual child's interests and needs. Each box contains a selection of new items such as books, toys, activities and craft materials. The boxes are often accompanied by a personalised letter from the Chief Fairy Officer and can also include donated items from local businesses. The packages are delivered directly to the children, free of charge, to bring joy to their lives during difficult times. The organisation is funded entirely by donations, and all gifts are provided free of charge.

Emma continued. "We've had generous donations from large organisations, local businesses and individuals. People who pledge support to us are actually supporting a much larger network of charities that work with children in need and mums and caregivers who might be deciding whether to buy food or how to keep a roof over their heads and weighing that against giving a Christmas or birthday experience. We are an organisation that works to bridge the gap between those who can give and those who need help. We want to support families in those moments so they can create happy childhood memories."

Ayden Sims, Chief Executive Officer of Jobs 22, said, "Gifts from Fairies is passionate about making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children; we know our support will enable Emma and her team to deliver ten boxes to children in need. We are delighted to have the opportunity to help children experience the joy of receiving a gift."
