Want to be an Employer Services Consultant?
If you have a good understanding what employers want from their employees and you can lead by example, then you could have what it takes to be a Jobs 22 Employer Services Consultant (ESC). You’ll understand current labour market trends and have experience of job search techniques and employment research methods. Most of all, you’re passionate about placing jobseekers in sustainable roles that can change lives.
The aim of a Jobs 22 ESC is to deliver a thoughtful, effective and commercial approach to helping national and local employers find the people they need. Businesses traditionally work to an engrained recruitment process and often aren’t aware of the services available to them via organisations like Jobs 22 and government programmes like the Restart Scheme.
Engaging with employers in a variety of industries is key to your success as an ESC. You’ll advise them on the recruitment techniques required to support participants in securing work. By maintaining a good understanding of the local/regional labour market and employer needs, you will be able to identify and deliver sector-specific skills training via Jobs 22’s service providers.
The satisfaction of being able to connect your customers to existing vacancies is fulfilling. In addition, you’ll also have the chance to develop opportunities based on employer needs and the transferable skills of your customers. It requires an empathetic and consultative approach.
